With the support of Dean of Al-Esraa University College, Prof. Dr. Abdel Razzaq Al-Majidi, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and the Head of the Department of Architecture, the female lecturers, Ms. Maha Hakki, Ms. Dania Salah, Ms. Zahra Samir, and the engineer, Nabaa Sadiq, from the Department of Architecture in our college participated. In the workshop entitled Principles and Concepts of Historic Preservation and Sustainable Development, which was organized and prepared by the Training and Development Center in the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Municipalities on Thursday 10/27/2022, where Dr. Venus Suleiman from the University of Technology gave the relevant lecture In the workshop, our candidates contributed to the discussions that took place after the workshop. The workshop was also attended by a number of candidates from state departments and other universities, and the workshop dealt with the topic of historical preservation and the importance of the methods used to achieve it and the most important historical and architectural value buildings in Iraq that need historical preservation and the relationship of preservation with sustainable development that raises From the country’s economy in addition to raising its standing among the countries of the world because of its buildings and cultural, historical and architectural areas. Our candidates were welcomed by Dr. Muhammad Al-Hassani, Director of the Training and Development Department in the Ministry, and from the lecturer, Dr. Venus Suleiman from the University of Technology.
