Under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Mr. Benkin Rekani, the scientific conference of the National Center for Engineering Consulting was held on building designs to resist earthquakes, and a kind invitation was extended to Professor Dr. Thamer Khudair Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at our university, to give a lecture on the subject.
