Programmatic accreditation standards for health technology programs
A reference to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency/the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation/the Accreditation Department to announce the programmatic accreditation standards for health technology programs.
We also expanded Al-Esraa University with all its capabilities in order for its technical and health departments to obtain programmatic accreditation through:
- Hosting specialists from members of the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Health Technology Education and specialists from the Ministry to hold seminars and workshops on how to write a self-evaluation report, improvement plan, and conformity report. (Done)
- Issuing a university order to form a team to write the self-evaluation report and improvement plan. (Done)
- Completing the writing of the program self-assessment report (SAR) (medical laboratory technologies) in accordance with the attached Council standards. (Done)
- Writing an improvement plan and gap analysis. (Done)
- Implementation of the improvement plan. (Done)
- Preparing the conformity form according to the Council’s programmatic standards. (Done)
- Sending an accreditation application accompanied by a conformity report and a self-evaluation report to the Accreditation Department in the Ministry and awaiting the Council’s report. (Done)
- Work continuously to update the reports and improvement plan annually in order to reduce the gap.
