  •  Forensic sciences Department is considered one of the scientific departments with the desired specialization at the level of Iraq and the world and one of the rare specializations. Al-esraa University was quick to open the Forensic Evidence Department out of its belief in the necessity of having scientific specializations that cover the fields of work and the market need at the level of the public and private sectors.

Vision, mission and goals
  • Vision
    Preparing a specialized staff with high scientific competence in the fields of investigating crimes, criminal investigations, fingerprint collection, collecting evidence, dealing with it and analyzing it, which leads to diagnosing the perpetrators on unambiguous grounds.
    Message
    Preserving evidence at the crime scene, taking samples from the site, documenting the evidence, learning how to deal with modern equipment and techniques in the field of jurisdiction, and supporting the courts and prosecutors with established facts.
    Objectives
    Providing specialized staff to work in the field of crime investigation and criminal investigation by providing students with knowledge and skills related to crime scenes, criminal registration of accidents, how to take fingerprints, use special forensic photography equipment, methods for examining counterfeit currencies and official documents, and use of forgery audit kits, as well as knowledge of poison and drug investigation devices. Writing reports related to this, being familiar with information related to explosives and their types, and the tools used to extinguish fires, and knowing the basic principles of first aid and the rules for applying them.
