Programmatic accreditation standards for management and economics programmes

A reference to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority/the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation/the Accreditation Department to announce the programmatic accreditation standards for management and economics programmes.
We also expanded Al-esraa University with all its capabilities in order for its administrative departments to obtain programmatic accreditation through:
  1. Hosting specialists from members of the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Administration and Economics and specialists from the Ministry to conduct seminars and workshops on how to write a self-evaluation report, improvement plan, and conformity report. (Done)
  2. Issuing a university order to form a team to write the self-evaluation report and improvement plan. (Done)
  3. Completing the writing of the program self-assessment report (SAR) (Business Administration Department) according to the attached Council standards. (Done)
  4. Writing an improvement plan and gap analysis. (Done)
  5. Implementation of the improvement plan. (Done)
  6. Preparing the conformity form according to the Council’s programmatic standards. (Done)
  7. Sending an accreditation request accompanied by a readiness report and a self-evaluation report to the accreditation department in the ministry and waiting for the council’s report. (Done)
  8. Work continuously to update the reports and improvement plan annually in order to reduce the gap.

Programmatic accreditation standards for health technology programs

A reference to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency/the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation/the Accreditation Department to announce the programmatic accreditation standards for health technology programs.
We also expanded Al-Esraa University with all its capabilities in order for its technical and health departments to obtain programmatic accreditation through:
  1. Hosting specialists from members of the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Health Technology Education and specialists from the Ministry to hold seminars and workshops on how to write a self-evaluation report, improvement plan, and conformity report. (Done)
  2. Issuing a university order to form a team to write the self-evaluation report and improvement plan. (Done)
  3. Completing the writing of the program self-assessment report (SAR) (medical laboratory technologies) in accordance with the attached Council standards. (Done)
  4. Writing an improvement plan and gap analysis. (Done)
  5. Implementation of the improvement plan. (Done)
  6. Preparing the conformity form according to the Council’s programmatic standards. (Done)
  7. Sending an accreditation application accompanied by a conformity report and a self-evaluation report to the Accreditation Department in the Ministry and awaiting the Council’s report. (Done)
  8. Work continuously to update the reports and improvement plan annually in order to reduce the gap.

Programmatic accreditation standards for technical engineering programs

A reference to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority/the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation/the Accreditation Department to announce the programmatic accreditation standards for technical engineering programs in accordance with ABET standards.

  6. Preparing the readiness form in accordance with the Council’s programmatic standards. (Done)

  3. Completing the writing of the self-assessment report (SAR) for the programs in biomedical engineering, construction engineering, project management, civil engineering, and architectural engineering in accordance with the attached Council standards. (Done)
